Frequently
Asked Questions
How do I know your items are authentic?
We purchase and offer autographed memorabilia only from
the top, reputable, leading producers of authentic sports memorabilia.
Some of the brands include Mounted Memories, Tri-Star Productions, and Steiner
Sports. All autographed items we sell come with a Certificate Of
Authenticity(COA) from these suppliers that include a hologram the
item. Click Here for more information
on our Authenticity/Guarantee.
Why are your items priced much lower than other online
memorabilia web sites?
These are the same authentic items that are sold from other
memorabilia web sites. The only difference is we don't mark up the
product as high the others. You save money and might come back as
a returning customer and we hope you'll tell your friends about
our great service and low prices.
What is your Return Policy?
Please refer to our Customer
Service page for this and other sales questions.
What is an Event Cover?
It is simply an unsigned 8x10 photo matted with a signed envelope
that is postmarked to that players historical event. The postmark
is in the city where the event occured with the date of the event.
The envelope has a photo and the event with concise details describing
the event printed on it.
What is a Mini Football Helmet?
Approximately 1/2 scale versions of NFL helmets with ABS plastic
shells and plastic facemask and authentic-looking team decals. This
helmet has become a staple in the collectibles market for several
good reasons. It's affordable, doesn't take up too much room and
showcases an autograph like nothing else! Once you start your collection
you'll be hooked! The authentic mini's have a steel facemask and
the replica mini's have a plastic facemask.
Are items professionally framed?
All items that are framed have been professionally framed with a
brown, black or Cherry wood "step" frame with glass and
have been doubled matted with white and a color that matches the
team color.
What is the difference between a regular Bat and a "Game
Bat."
The game bat is the exact style a player would use. A regular
bat is almost the same thing but the player may or may not have
used that exact style, but is still a real official bat.
How do I store my autographed memorabilia?
Photos can be stored in a file cabinet, and other items usually
get stored in display cases. The best conditions for display cases
are indirect light to avoid fading, and 65 to 70 degrees with 50
percent humidity. More valuable items can be stored in safe deposit
boxes. Always keep the Certificate of Authenticity with the product.
Periodically check your items for signs of deterioration, and avoid
excess handling. Never try to fill in an autograph as restoration
is best left to a professional conservator.
I am going to a Sports Memorabilia Convention and getting
items signed. What should I use for the signings?
It's best to use the right instrument for signings in case
you ever want to sell your item inthe future. Baseballs always use
blue point pens, bats use black sharpies usually on blonde bats
and silver paint markers on black bats. Hats and batting helmets
are paint marker, basketballs are silver paint marker, but sometimes
black sharpie, helmets use both black Sharpies and paint pens, but
it depends on the color of the helmet. All photos are black Sharpies.
Jerseys are sharpies or paint markers, depending on the jersey color.
Make sure use real MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL balls, helmets, etc. as
it will hold it's value better.
What determines the value of an autograph?
Prices for autographs are simply set on supply and demand, based
on regional interest, scarcity, condition, player popularity, significance
of event, and what the player charges for an autograph.
Will Hall of Fame Memorabilia buy my autographed item?
We're sorry, but we do not buy autographed items from individuals,
even if you have a Certificate of Authenticity. If you have an item
that you want to sell, our first advice is to make sure you have
a Certificate of Authenticity. If you do not, we recommend PSA DNA
at 800-325-1121. Our second advice is to go to a local autograph
sports store to see if they will buy it or consign it for you. Ebay
is another outlet for autographed memorabilia.
What is a Replithentic Jersey?
The Replithentic jersey from Reebok delivers superb value by combining
quality and details that approach those of an authentic jersey with
affordability rivaling that of a replica jersey. Features sewn-on
letters and numbers on the body of a replica jersey with silk screened
logos and patches. |
