Description: Carlton Fisk is a former Major League Baseball catcher who played for 24 years with the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox. In Fisk's long career, he caught 2,226 games, more than any other catcher in history. He was an 11-time All-Star and hit 376 career pitcher home runs. The defining moment of Fisk's illustrious career came in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series at Fenway Park. He was facing Cincinnati Reds Pat Darcy and hit a pitch down the left field line that appeared to be heading into foul territory. The enduring image of Fisk jumping and waving the ball fair as he made his way to first base is considered by many to be one of baseball's greatest moments . The ball struck the foul pole, giving the Red Sox a 7-6 win and forcing a seventh and deciding game of the fall classic. The image of him waving the ball fair changed the way baseball was televised. He was elected to the baseball Hall of Fame in 2000. This 1975 World Series Game 6 Mega Ticket (15x35x3/4) has been hand signed by Carlton Fisk. Fisk has added the inscription, "Stay Fair! Stay Fair!" An MAB Celebrity Services Certificate of Authenticity is included.
